We are delighted to be joined by two of the country’s leading independent craftswomen, Yuli Somme from Bellacouche with her stunning, individualised felt shrouds andSophia Campbell-Shaw with her beautifully crafted English willow coffins. Come and see them working and appreciate the beauty of these sustainable and natural objects to cradle the dead – both comforting to the eye and kind to the environment. Maybe even try out a coffin for size. And in How Did We End Up Doing This? you can hear them talking with other women about how they became part of a movement to radically change the way death is done in this country and put families and choice at the very centre of what happens.
