Event details

Walking it Through!

Walking in natural surroundings can boost your sense of wellbeing. This guided walk in Christchurch Meadows offers you time to think about loss or death whilst enjoying the outdoors. Nature can support us to work through our thoughts and feelings following the loss of a family member, friend, or partner.
Join James, an experienced lead for walking for wellbeing and Christine, an experienced therapist and walker. They will be your walking guides. You can choose to connect with other
walkers or walk on your own reflecting on the prompts they offer you. A chance to slow down and take a break from the hectic pace of life and an introduction to one of Oxford’s
many special green spaces.
We will finish at The Independent C
afé on St Aldates (also our meeting place) so that we can re-fuel with cake!
