Our Travelling Postbox
Based on a beautiful idea created by Matilda Handy, aged 9, who wanted to post "letters to Heaven" for her grandparents, our Travelling Postbox is currently in residence at the Old Fire Station, Oxford in the downstairs art gallery, along with Helen Pakeman's inspiring installation, How Do You Feel Today?
If you would like to write a letter to someone special who has died, you are invited to use our stationery and pens, and take one of our Festival badges when you post it. The letters will be treated respectfully throughout the Festival, and then burned with a ritual ceremony at Westmill Woodland Burial Ground.
