Poetry as Planning?
We are thrilled to introduce Dave Neita,
lawyer, published poet, lecturer and international speaker specialising in cultural leadership, to our Festival. Dave is using Nelson Mandela's famous words from the Rivonia Trials in the 1960s (declaring that he would be prepared to die for his ideals of a democratic, free society) to ask workshop participants what is so important to them that they would die for it. It's also an opportunity to consider what is still left that you are called to do with your life - and all this will be coaxed out during the workshop! Pens, paper, coloured pencils - poetry, Will writing...whatever next?! For poetry novices and experienced writers alike, don't miss this amazing event. Tickets available here. (scroll down)
